Ella K’s Epupa Mon Amour is evocative of the sun beating down on the ochre-coloured earth of Epupa in Namibia, where the nearby Epupa Falls appear like a mirage in the middle of the desert. In an effort to capture this oasis, the scent opens with notes of fir balsam, cumin and saffron crocus, leading to a heart of cypriol, gaiac wood and cedarwood before developing into a warm and woody dry-down of tonka bean and sandalwood.
